Course Description:
This course provides the skills necessary to recognize traumatic mechanisms of injury, assessment of the patient, performance of critical interventions, package, and transport the patient.

1.  Teach basic hands-on trauma care.
2.  Maintain Quality Assurance for BTLS
3.  Provide basic training in trauma recognition and management
4.  Provide basic training in assessment skills and protocols

Course Prerequisites: Must have taken FR within the last 3 years
