Overview
Program Description:
The program of study is divided over a
period of 7.5 months. Spaced breaks appear
for independent study and holidays. The
total program consists of 750 (plus) hours
with the subject matter arranged to provide
the most sequential flow of information.
Clinic and Practical Placement:
Clinical and practical components are part
of the educational requirements. Practical
placement is required at the end of the
educational process and is the student’s
responsibility. The College will aid the
student in meeting this component.

Approx. 25 hours per week
Program delivered on an 8a.m start or a 1p.m
start subject to availability
Independent Learning:
6-8 hours per week, recommended
Practical Placement:
80 hours clinical component as part of the
educational requirements *
based on instructor availability at the time
of application
Certification:
After successful completion of Dental Office
Chairside Assistant Level 1, the graduate
will be eligible to write the ODAA
examination. Graduates are encouraged to
write the examination for certification in
the province of Ontario.
