Program Description:
This program is designed for the practicing
DA Level I who would like to
upgrade their skills while continuing to
work in the dental field. Utilizing
independent study, this program offers 72
hours of instruction in the classroom/clinic on a
part time basis.
Additional hours are required for practical
testing on clients in the public clinic.
Clinic and Practical Placement:
Clinical time is included in the
instructional hours. Practical placement is
not required for this program.

Classroom Instruction:
Approximately 6 hours per week
Program Delivered:
6pm – 9pm twice per week
Independent Learning:
8 – 10 hours per week recommended
Certification:
After successful completion of Intra Oral
Level II, the graduate will be eligible to
write the NDAEB examination. All graduates
are required to hold the NDAEB certificate
in order to practice as and Intra Oral Level
II Dental Assistant in the province of
Ontario.
